James and Sarah Kuykendall are native Texans and have called Dripping Springs, TX home for over 20 years. They are members of Hill Country Bible Church DS. Together they own and operate several local businesses alongside Sunrise Christian Schoolhouse. James and Sarah love the community that they have in Dripping Springs and feel extremely blessed to be able to give back, by serving in local organizations including: the Hays County Livestock Show, Dripping Springs Ag Boosters and Hometown Missions. The Kuykendalls are also advocates and supporters of the Texas Baptist Children’s Home, where Sarah worked for many years.
It is in Dripping Springs, TX that they are raising their twin girls, Eden and Emery, and son Ancil.
Parenting has brought great joy in their lives and they are dedicated to ensuring their children know Christ in all that they do– including in their academics.It was their desire to provide their girls with the best educational foundation, rooted in scripture, that led the Kuykendalls to collaborate with local Christian educators to establish Sunrise Christian Schoolhouse.
James and Sarah believe in a classical education and the importance of integrating Truth into academics. They hope SCS will provide a loving and nurturing environment where students are educated with a Christian world view and like-minded families are able to connect and support each other.
