An engaging curriculum
At Sunrise Christian Schoolhouse, we go beyond teaching the basics. Our small class sizes and engaging curriculum create the perfect environment for fostering critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity.
Our day begins with school wide morning devotions and we continue the rest of our day by integrating biblical truths into all subject areas allowing students to develop depth of knowledge and wisdom with Jesus Christ being at the center of all that we do.
Music Theory, Art Appreciation, Spanish, & Physical Education
At SCS, we believe in providing students with a great foundational experience and this includes our Specials Program where students are able to express their gifts and talents through Music, Art, Spanish, and P.E.
Students will be given the opportunity to explore and learn the fundamentals of creating music- melody, harmony, rhythm- in Music Theory.
Art Appreciation encourages exploration, self expression, logical thinking, self-esteem, imagination, and creativity through different mediums and techniques.
In Spanish class, students will learn basic grammar and vocabulary skills to help build fluency and language proficiency.
Through P.E., students experience the physical and mental benefits of movement while building essential life skills, creating a strong, well-rounded foundation for their overall development.
